I relate to this a lot and agree it’s really important. I never did this with my ex-husband, mostly because I probably could gather that we were NOT in fact on the same page whatsoever. I had big dreams, and he just…didn’t. He didn’t know himself frankly (and his addiction didn’t help that), and so he didn’t know what he wanted. I think it’s extremely important to help each other be your best self, and that includes having aspirations you help each other toward. Mazel tov!
